Interesting. A tester has confirmed that for his thick beard, an old-school Merkur Safety Razor does far better than the latest Gillette Fusion.

Not to mention that the Feather blades cost about $0.60 a pop compared to the $4(!) for the Fusion!

Buy yourself a nice safety razor and don't look back. Gillette's glitzy marketing is making you pay $4 for a cartridge that costs $0.08 to make and doesn't work as well as a razor design from 1901.
